Meet Seth Mcmillan
Unlike career politicians bankrupting the state, Seth McMillan will bring valuable experience as a small business owner to the Illinois State Senate. He will work hard on behalf of friends and neighbors, and all of Central Illinois, fighting diligently for their priorities and against a bloated, out-of-touch state government.
After returning to his hometown of Taylorville after college, Seth launched his own landscape design company. Since then, he has grown the business to employ about a dozen season and opened a retail store and greenhouse in 2012. As a small business owner, he has learned the value of a dollar, a strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, and that government ought to get out of the way and off the backs of hard-working people simply trying to make a living.
TAYLORVILLE— Seth McMillan, an outsider running for State Senate in the 48th District, is releasing an infrastructure plan to secure hundreds of millions of dollars in funding for roads and bridges.
“For too long, politicians have used road funds for their pet projects. It’s time we stop the games with our road funds and start to put the money where it’s needed—fixing our crumbling roads and bridges,” said McMillan.
TAYLORVILLE— Congressman Rodney Davis is announcing his endorsement of outsider Seth McMillan for the 48th Senate District seat in the Illinois Senate this November. Davis, who has represented much of the 48th District while serving in Congress since 2013, says McMillan is the right choice to serve residents of the area.
